Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place has been a hit-or-miss experience for me. I’ve been coming here 2–3 times a week for the past two months, and the smoothies are usually delicious, with the flavor and consistency I love—except when they’re made by the blonde employee. Every time she’s prepared my smoothie, it has tasted more like watered-down juice than an actual smoothie. Today was the first time I finally said something because it was almost entirely liquid. She immediately apologized and offered to remake it, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, even after it was remade, it still lacked the flavor and consistency I normally expect. I’m disappointed because I really enjoy this place and have been a regular customer. Going forward, I’ll probably check who’s making the smoothie before ordering because if it’s her, I’ll unfortunately pass.

CAUTION DISHONEST EMPLOYEES!!!!! I did that math and realized this place is charging automatic gratuity even when the customer says no. I got a smoothie for $16.50 but was still charged a total of $19.18 when I called the store back, the young lady working there told me this was just the sales tax. However, upon doing the math, 6% sales tax on $16.50 is $17.49 not $19.18. Unless there is a secret additional charge I’m unaware of (who knows it’s quite possible for a place that has 0 prices on the menu), she is therefore increasing the price of the smoothie so that she can get a tip. Management certainly needs to look into this. I will be looking into refuting the charge for dishonest businesses practices.

Four of us arrived at approximately 6:45 p.m. on 06/22. As we were arranging the table and chairs to sit down, the employee preparing smoothies in the back began raising her eyebrows at us and indicated that they were closing soon. Out of respect, we immediately put the table and chairs back where they belonged and proceeded to the register to place our order. While we were ordering, the same employee repeatedly rushed us, stating that they would be closing in 15 minutes. However, the posted hours outside indicate that the business closes at 8:00 p.m., so we had no reason to believe they were closing an hour earlier. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the same employee started clapping her hands and repeatedly looking over the counter at us with dismissive body language, making us feel as though we were being pressured to order as quickly as possible and leave. It created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. I do want to acknowledge that the cashier was kind, patient, and professional throughout the interaction. Later, when we needed assistance with one of our drinks, the owner was also extremely friendly,

Stopped in for a smoothie and tried the T12—it had berries and protein powder and was honestly delicious. Super smooth, refreshing, and felt like a great quality blend. The ambiance had a really chill, laid-back vibe, which made it a nice spot to relax for a bit. Only downside is the price point… $16 for a 12 oz smoothie feels pretty steep. If it were a bit more affordable, I’d be here all the time. Overall, really good—just wish it didn’t hit the wallet quite so hard!

★★★★★ Been a customer here for over a year and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Chama, the owner, is so friendly — the kind of person who just makes the whole experience better every time. My post-gym order is always the Bam Bam. 60g of whey protein, real fresh fruit, and — most importantly — it’s not sweet to the point where it tastes like candy. Overly sweet smoothies are a dealbreaker for me, and this one gets it just right. Clean, fresh, filling. The space is great too. Comfortable, clean, good energy, easy to want to hang around. Highly recommend. Just go.

The Smoothie Room is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm, tropical, and very inviting the perfect spot if you're looking for healthy food, fresh smoothies, and a relaxed vibe. The Tropical Spirulina Açaí Bowl was amazing incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The gluten-free empanadas were another standout. They were delicious and came with a great selection of sauces. The mango and tamarind spicy sauces were fantastic and added the perfect balance of sweet and heat. I also tried the Piña Colada smoothie made with banana, pineapple, coconut milk, and shredded coconut absolutely refreshing and packed with tropical flavor. A big thank you to Jorge Perez for the excellent customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you're looking for great açaí bowls, gluten-free options, tropical smoothies, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Smoothie Room is definitely a place to visit. Highly recommended!

The butter face was a nice smooth balance of peanut butter granola dates and almond milk and I enjoyed it. Lots of good seating in here and the person who took my order was extremely helpful and nice and the others were just OK but all in all a clean atmosphere great place to read or study or meet up and in a great area to shop.

The place was closed just as we entered and the owner took the time to take our order and made it for us. Was very gracious and pleasant as he told his employees he'd take care of us so they could go. What a leader! The location was very delightful and cozy. A Foosball table, hammock chairs and comfortable sofa for relaxing while enjoying your purchase. Wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices, I got a smoothie and friend grabbed an acai bowl, which I usually love and try at different locations but I'll be back to try theirs soon. Parking is not so great but I gave them a 5 because his customer service was top notch. Go check them out and be sure to tell them I sent ya 👍
